Edu Plan Consultants Urges Government for Immediate Evacuation of Indian Nationals Stranded in Iran
Srinagar: Amidst the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, Srinagar-based Edu Plan Consultants has issued an urgent appeal to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir and the Ministry of External Affairs, seeking the immediate evacuation of Indian nationals currently stranded in Iran.
The organization highlighted the precarious situation of hundreds of Indian citizens—particularly medical students from Jammu & Kashmir, as well as pilgrims, tourists, and professionals—who are currently in Iran and facing growing threats due to the rapidly deteriorating security landscape.
With communication channels disrupted and fear mounting, families across India, especially from Jammu & Kashmir, have expressed deep concern over the safety and well-being of their loved ones.
In a formal written appeal submitted via email to the concerned authorities, Edu Plan Consultants stressed the urgent need for a coordinated evacuation effort by the Government of India. The organization called for swift and compassionate action to safeguard Indian citizens during this unfolding crisis.
“We are in constant contact with distressed families of students and other Indian citizens in Iran. The situation on the ground is alarming. We appeal to the authorities to act without delay and ensure the safety of every Indian national,” said Mr. Mohammad Jaffar, Director of Edu Plan Consultants.
